  • Campo del Drago DOCG 2003
    Classification: Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
    Composition: The soil is characterized by the presence of sandstone, layers of clay and galestro, a typical Tuscan stone. The microclimate in this area is strongly influenced by the sea with hot, dry summers and continuous winds which reduce humidity. The richness of the galestro stone in the soil gives the wine its unique aroma, complexity and structure.
    Origin: Campo del Drago of Castiglion del Bosco comes from a careful selection of vineyards located in the Capanna area, approximately 350 meters above sea level, on the southern side of the property.
    Grape Variety: 100% Sangiovese
    Color: Deep ruby red
    Nose: Rich and persistent with an intense aroma of blackberry
    Palate: Complex with an excellent structure and pleasant harmony

    Classification: Rosso di Montalcino DOC
    Composition: The soil is characterized by a larger presence of clay. The microclimate is hot and dry in the summer and more humid in the winter and spring. As a result, the wines from this area are refined and elegant.
    Origin: Rosso di Montalcino of Castiglion del Bosco comes from the vineyards located in the Gauggiole area, approximately 300 meters above sea level, on the northern side of the property.
    Grape Variety: 100% Sangiovese
    Color: Ruby red
    Nose: Delicate aroma of small red berries
    Palate: Soft and harmonious
